When I was a little girl I LOVED to talk!
And when I say I loved to talk, I mean I really loved to talk.
I was constantly doing it, which makes so much sense! I am a Gemini Sun, Leo moon, and my mars is in Virgo in the third house.
In English that means that my mind loooves communication, my heart yearns for expression, and I get energy when I communicate, especially when I have that expertise-ness about it.
Pretty much I was born to communicate, I was born to help women be HEARD.
And I’m sure you know exactly what happened next.
All those things that made me want to talk all the time, those were all the things I ended up feeling ashamed of. They were all the things that made me feel bad about myself and so I ended up hiding who I was.
I only shared the parts of me that felt super safe to share.
So, I ended up looking like this…
this…put together, polished, controlled, and appropriate. She is a beautiful girl and I love her very much and she is also hiding a big part of who she is.
The thing about this is that when we only share that part of ourselves we limit the impact we have on our lives. The impact we have on others, our loved ones, our friends, and our audience.
And as business women we want to have the greatest impact that we possibly can! We are living our purpose. We are fulfilling our mission. We are answering the pull of our soul to influence our world and the world at large.
Words are important. They carry weight. They help us be understood.
The sound of our voice either muffles our words or acts as an amplifier of them.
